Total Active Roster: 16 Players
Injured Reserve (IR): 2 Slots – Only eligible if designated as OUT or on NFL IR
Taxi Squad: 6 Players – Only rookies or 1st-year players. 1-year max stay. Cannot return after activation.
Starting Lineup:
– 1 QB (required)
– 1 K (required)
– 1 DEF (required)
– 13 FLEX (RB/WR/TE in any combination)

Standard PPR scoring with bonuses for field goals, return TDs, etc.

Salary Cap Rules
Total Cap: $1,000,000 per team
Cap covers all active, IR, and Taxi players once promoted
Managed by MFL’s salary cap module
Startup Draft Salary Scale
Live snake-style draft (not auction)
Each pick has a pre-assigned salary (see provided CSV)
Expected total cap used after draft: ~$850,000
Contracts & Escalation
Contracts must be assigned post-draft and entered before Week 1
1-Year Contracts: Must re-sign at a 5% increase or release
Multi-Year Contracts: Increase 3% each year after Year 1
Contract Assignment
Each owner completes and submits the provided Excel form
Commissioner enters values into MFL manually
Form must be submitted within 7 days of the draft
Guaranteed Contracts & Dead Money
20% of total remaining contract value stays on cap if player is released early
Applies to all multi-year or guaranteed deals
Trade Rules
All trades are reviewed by league vote (excluding teams involved)
Majority vote required to veto within 48 hours
All trades involving future picks require both teams to pre-pay next year’s dues
Draft Order (Future Seasons)
NFL-style reverse standings order
Super Bowl Champion: picks last
Runner-Up: second-to-last
Entry Fee & Payouts
Annual Fee: $50
Total Pot: $500
Payouts: $350 to Champion (70%), $150 to Runner-Up (30%)
Trophies
Winner keeps main trophy for 1 year, must add engraved plate and ship it to new champion
Last place receives Toilet Bowl trophy with same rules
